Biography on Jussi out in Denmark

JUSSI – the biography shows unprecedented aspects of one of Denmark’s most successful authors. Mr. Jussi Adler-Olsen has become a well-known name in both Denmark and abroad for a few years. His novels on Department Q, Carl Mørck and his assistants Assad and Rose are published all over the globe and have sold more than 16 million copies. The series is currently being filmed.

But what does it take to become an international bestseller writer? Does it have a price? And where does Jussi’s talent for describing murder and human wickedness come from? It is a portrait of him, of Denmark and the story of a boy who grew up at three different mental hospital and became friends with those patients who were not healthy enough to move outside the community.

The book is also about:

  • His novels.
  • Facing death. Not just one but several times.
  • Being an entrepreneur and businessman.
  • Stubbornness, career, hard work and a little luck.

And it is about going all the way. All the time.

The book is written by journalist Jonas Langvad Nilsson. For more than five years, Jonas Langvad Nilsson has followed Jussi Adler-Olsen and has interviewed about 150 sources in the making.
